Kristen Stewart,James Gandofini,and Melissa Leo did an amazing job in this fim. There were a wide range of emotions to go through because of the storyline, and a lot more humor and light moments than I expected.Still there were a lot of heart wrenching moments for all three caracters.
Kristen Stewart did a phenominal job at portraying a troubled teen runaway doing the best she can to survive.She swore like a sailor,manipulated,lied,and fought like an ally cat.She went from,funny,to vulnerable,to having flat out screaming crying meltdowns. I'm am in awe at how versitle Kristen's acting abilities are yet again.Her performance in WTTR makes you forget she's "that vampire girl",but an accomplished,talented actress,headed for great things.
James Gandolfini aslo did a phenominal job in portraying,a father struggling to come to terms with the loss of a child,and emtional abandonment of his wife,while trying to stay alive himself emtionally. He came across as a very caring,compassionate, but broken person. He also makes you want to laugh and cry in this film.
Melissa Leo, suprised me the most,she portrayed a mother and wife who died when her daughter did.It was amazing to watch her go from a detached,emotionless recluse,afriad to feel anything,then come alive step by step,as she realizes that she's about to loose what's left of her life.I found many of the ligheter moments in the movie come from her character learning how to feel,laugh,and love again.
There is much more to the story but I'm going leave it for you all to see for yourselves.Please go see this film. You'll be glad you did and leave the theater very satisfied.
